Frozenjord harasses Spin, the Hallowed Grim, for some sweet, sweet candy.
As Fro was unaware, the Hallowed Grim lacked candy. The Hallowed Grim, and the regular Grim for that matter, cannot even ingest candy, so why the heck would she be carrying any? How would she even carry any candy?? Grim do not have pockets, nor do they carry adorable pumpkin shaped buckets with which to receive candy.
However, Fro, as your typical trick or treater, expected to receive candy. She would have strolled up to this mouse, - who happened to be sleeping outside of her neighbour's gate for some reason - recognize her orange and black colour scheme, Jack-o'-lantern tail decoration, untamed hair and creepy mask as a Halloween outfit, and demand candy. She wouldn't be wrong to assume the mouse looked this way for the sake of Halloween, but it wasn't for candy sharing fun times. Quite the opposite.
Spin wanted play things. She had exchanged her usual soul-sucking diamond for a slightly more nightmarish device; a Halloween-themed lantern. Ooooh, spooky! Unlike her pretty diamond, which could literally suck the souls from poor individuals, taking them to a sanctuary where they could "live" out the rest of their "lives" until they became food for a Greater Being, the lantern would capture both the soul and the body, transporting them to another planet, but not before scanning the mind of the victim, learning their greatest fear.
The victim would momentary feel a great deal of confusion before noticing that they were in a different location - a typical dark and misty forest, creepy in appearance, and with a silence punctured only by faint whispers. If the victim was able to travel the entire planet, they would find nothing besides forests, lakes, and the odd abandoned building or two. As time passed, it would occur to them how daylight never arrived. The planet was in a constant state of twilight. Just to add to the mood. All of this had been designed by the Hallowed Grim, wanting to "treat" mice to a horror-themed adventure. They didn't have a say in the matter. Her victims never do.
These poor adventurers would soon realize that their greatest fears had manifested on the planet and would attempt to hunt them down and destroy them. As more and more victims were captured by the Hallowed Grim and transported to the planet, a wide variety of weird and down-right horrifying creatures would also begin roaming about the forest. Nobody would be safe, but at least they could work together in facing their fears, and thus have a better chance of returning home.
After waking the Hallowed Grim and becoming angry at her for not giving up any candy, Fro would use her adorable pink heart wand to summon a handful of eggs from her fridge, and use them to make a mess of Spin's hair. Spin would then summon a spell to clean up said mess, and would prepare to capture the idiot that had dared to disrespect her.
Spin and Fro would greatly underestimate each other's magical abilities. Their encounter would no doubt result in an incredibly glorious battle of adorable fairy mouse magic vs not-so-adorable Grim Spirit magic and time fuckery. Though despite her best efforts, Fro would inevitably be captured by the Hallowed Grim. Soon enough she would meet up with her neighbour and a couple of friends in an unfamiliar forest, and end up facing her greatest fear.
Whatever that is.
